Our second issue for the year is jam packed filled with all things Craigieburn Secondary College. Read the Principal’s welcome message, and about the huge success of Harmony Week for 2022. The 2021 Year 12 Graduation was a celebratory event to showcase the cohorts great successes under very difficult circumstances. This newsletter will also celebrate International Women’s Day, and the recognition of ANZAC day on Monday 25th April Commemorative Services held at Craigieburn ANZAC Park.

At Craigieburn Secondary College we aim to connect strongly to our diverse communities through our many programs and curriculum such as our Performing Arts faculty, Debating program and Language programs, Sports programs that are reported on in the newsletter. Our Pathways team work with our senior students informing them on the many resources and options available to to continue a successful educational journey.

The Junior and Senior sub-school articles introduce staff and vital roles and work they do to support our students and families day in and day out. Read about some of the college’s amazing programs, such as the Engage Program, VCAL program, Outdoor Education program, Tutoring and Peer Mentoring programs; all aimed at delivering inclusive, diverse, modified and engaging curriculum to meet the needs of all our students.

Read about all thing ‘Attendance’ matters, how to report absences, how and when the college will communicate absences and work in partnership with our families to help our students achieve regular and high attendance.
